Aspen Run is a family-centered band located in Westminster Maryland. The band plays hard driving, upbeat and exciting bluegrass music to listeners in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Delaware. Aspen Run draws musical influence from many prominent bluegrass bands and artists such as Jimmy Martin, The Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, The Johnson Mountain Boys, The Del McCoury Band, Danny Paisley.

The three youngest members of the band, the Martin brothers started playing their first instruments in April of 2005. They have an incredible instinct for drive and timing which gives our band a distinct hard driving sound. Since Aspen Run has only been playing a few short years they have quite a list of accomplishments, some highlights were opening the show for The Wheeling Jamboree at the historic Capitol Theatre Ballroom in downtown Wheeling West Virginia and being select for the band competition at Delfest. Two of the brothers felt especially honored when they were asked to play several shows with Danny Paisley and Kody Norris. We also felt privileged to be the opening act for the 25th Arcadia Bluegrass Festival, Beck & Benedict Hardware Store and The Log Cabin Campground Festival. Especially exciting were some of our show case performances at Wilmington Winter Grass, Cabin Fever and IBMA. But the most exciting of all is to see the foot tapping and smiling faces of the people that see our band for first time and the growing number of fans that come out and support us.
